Our Technology
3D Imaging
3D Cone Beam Imaging shows much more than simple x-rays. This technology has made it possible for Dr. Lee to be able to study your case from every angle visually three dimensionally. These images can also be manipulated with computer software to assist in treatment planning.
Soft Tissue Laser
Dr. Lee has invested in the most advanced state of the art technology to ensure his patients are comfortable during all procedures. Our soft tissue laser is designed to assist in teeth cleaning and gum disease. These lasers work by using high frequency, ultrasonic sound waves that vibrate the tartar and plaque off the teeth. Below are a few of many benefits of using a soft tissue laser;
- Incredibly comfortable. Lasers are incredibly gentle that anesthetic is rarely needed.
- The healing process is much faster. Your gums will heal and attach to the root of the tooth much quicker
- The laser reduces procedure time.
At your next visit, we will show you our laser and give you more in-depth information about how our lasers can benefit your treatment.
Digital X-rays
We offer digital x-rays in our office to help reduce radiation. A common concern regarding x-rays is how much radiation you are exposed to. Compared to traditional film x-rays, digital x-rays reduce the amount of radiation exposed by 80%. These images can be magnified, sharpened and help the doctor see exactly where there may be areas of decay.
Intra-Oral Cameras
This technology gives our patients the ability to clearly view and fully evaluate their own dental health, view existing treatment, oral health and cavities. Years ago, patients had to trust the dentist on what his diagnosis was, but now the patient can see for themselves where there may be concerns and treatment needed. These cameras also give our patients the ability to see in clear view the before and after formation of their dental health.
Rotary Endodontic System
At Denton Oak Dentistry, we understand that root canal treatment can be intimidating and uncomfortable. We have invested in a rotary endodontic system that is an electrically powered instrument to perform the treatment rather than using the old-school file method. This instrument is more reliable, reduces treatment time, much quieter and more comfortable. We want all of our patients to have an enjoyable visit, so we invest in the latest technology to ensure each patient is comfortable.
Laser Whitening
Laser Teeth Whitening is an advanced method for teeth whitening. Once a patient has had their cleaning and are free of any gum disease, they are eligible for teeth whitening. Our laser whitening is extremely effective and can make teeth several shades higher in just an hour. Our whitening reduces yellow stains that occur naturally over time and in a shorter amount of time.
