Smile Makeover Considerations
We take into consideration your facial features, gum tissue health, and the condition of your teeth to develop your ideal smile as a part of your smile makeover. We closely work with our patients to understand their expectations from the treatment procedure. You can expect us to ask you questions such as what factors you like or dislike about your smile, what you would like changed. We will review all of this with you and create a custom smile makeover plan for you.
Some dental conditions that can be improved with a smile makeover include the following:
- Missing Teeth: One or more missing teeth can negatively affect the appearance of your smile, making replacement an integral part of oral health and facial esthetics. Missing teeth can be replaced by dental implants, bridges or partial dentures.
- Tooth Color: teeth whitening can improve the color of dulled or stained teeth, whole amalgam dental fillings can be replaced with natural, tooth-colored composite restorations. Tooth color and shading are important factors to consider during the evaluation of and preparation for various procedures, including teeth whitening, crowns, bridges, dental implants, porcelain veneers, composite bonding,etc.
- Alignment and Spacing: Teeth that are gapped, overlapping or crooked, overlapping or can be aligned and straightened through orthodontics treatments. Veneers can also be used for this in some cases.
