Denton Oak Dentistry performs bone grafting procedures aimed at regenerating lost jawbone. There are many reasons why bone loss occurs. For example, dental extractions can encourage jawbone to resorb due to lack of stimulation, periodontal disease and infection can also trigger bone loss. Bone loss can eventuate over years due to direct trauma or injury, even misaligned teeth can cause bone deterioration.
Types of bone grafting procedure:
- socket graft
- block bone graft
- sinus lift
